Newtown’s annual Slugfest & Skills Challenge is back on Saturday, May 10 at Chandler Park, inviting all CRN Little League players—and their families—to compete in a day of free, family‑friendly hitting contests, throwing and running challenges, and a thrilling Homerun Derby; with raffle baskets, exclusive 2025 Slugfest merch, Skip’s Food Truck and Rita’s Water Ice on site, there’s fun for everyone—plus, players who raise just $100 earn a commemorative T‑shirt!
